Hi

I bought a datsun 120y bakkie (what we call it in South Africa)

It was bought from my friends dad who didnt want to get rid of it as he was the first owner and only sold it to me on condition i would make her look nice and never sell her. So far i have just done the body and converted to front discs instead of drums.

Before and after below:

Welcome and good work on what you have done already! I love the colour mate it suits the car! Did you do the paint and pannel yourself?
Keep up the good work and you won't want to get rid of her now

No i didnt do body the work myself, only the brakes myself. There was a lot of rust on the body so took it to a friend who is an expert on making cars look better than how they came out of the factory.

Mechanically this car is perfect except for a bearing that needs to be replaced on the prop (it rattles and makes a noise)
