120y v`s 1200 Crank (flywheel bolts)

Can somebody confirm for me that some 1200 cranks have different (better) flywheel retaining bolts. It might be the thread pitch changes? Are they all 10mm?
Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

Yes,10mm but a slightly differant thread pitch, someone a bit heavy handed could wind them in not knowing.

Thanks,
Do you know which ones have the finer pitch? 10x1 im presuming? I`ll go for the finer pitch unit. Im about to spend a lot of money getting a crank ground and lightend for racing and i`d like to start from the best base. Also, ARP make flywheel bolts in 10x1.

Anything starting in 1974. The A-series engine was redesigned, it has the dizzy under #3 spark plug. Earlier engines had dizzy under #1 spark plug.

also sikyne if you happen to find a motor with m2 cast on the side it has one of those lighter cranks that the speedway boys are always after
