yeh, its Much easier to find Gtxs or clones compared to the real deal gtrs.

Its very hard to come across a genuine c10/c110 gtr, even in japan. Very few number of gtrs were produced and most were not exported.landed in oz,be looking at figures of 100,000k plus for a genuine gtr.

One of the easiest way to atleast give you hints of clones is the engine.Gtrs used the S20 engine.The 240 z432 which is also another relic, also used the s20 engine.Spare parts for this particular engine are also not cheap when they occassionally come up.so maintenance for a genuine gtr will also cost alot if u need genuine replacement panels or parts.

that said, im not a fan of gtxs badged as gtrs.but im a fan of gtxs badged as gtxs. Owners have the right to do whatever they like or want to their cars.but as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
