A12 or A15 gearbox? |

I have two options, stick with my dodgy A15 gearbox or get my other A12 gearbox which is sloppy but not as bad as the A15..
When i say dodgy i mean there is a loud 'clunk clunk clunk' when the clutch is not pressed and the engine running, but when pressed it goes away and just the 'swish' almost of the clutch plate.... Is this internal in the trans, bearings or what else? This is also a VERY sloppy gearbox (my mum cant find 1st!!)
The A12 g/b however is not to sloppy and does not have this weird sound and does bolt up as the nipple is da same etc..
Oh and will my new clutch and pressure plate go on to this A12 g/b?
So whats the go??
