The two door wagon IS the 'van' There was no 'panel van' as such of the same general style that we came to know & love in the HolFalVal range of cars.

The two door Datsun 1200 'Van' was not part of Nissan's model range in Australia, but then, neither was the 1200 two door sedan, yet a surprising number of these survive, particularly when you remember that officially, none were sold here, so you might get lucky.

They were sold in Japan where all wagons were called "van" (yes, even 4-door wagons were called "van").

HEY thats mEEE
Awsome cars. Definately get one if you find a decent one
There are PLENTY of 2dr wagons in nz, i have never even seen a four door. Lame thing is that they are all in hiding. but every so often they come out of the woodworks, (they mostly in the south island)
Just some useless information.

Thanks for the info. i might have to come of there and find a 2 door wagon and bring it home.

I have a 2 door sedan so i would love a 2 door wagon, they look heaps better.

What sort of cash do they sell for in NZ?

thanks boofhead. Well i got my wagon for NZ$3800. But now when i think about it i really could have tryed bargining it down to about 3
becuase there were a few rust patches here and there but nothing major.
I have seen one in the southisland sell for like 1000 but that needed some work. Seen another for about
800 but that needed re assemble. Price averages from 2500-3900 i rekon. at a guess
Go kiwiland
