hahaha yeah it is pretty hard on the fingers, and it isnt over yet,got a few more things coming up will post up,

also the last few days ive been slowly removing the steering set up so i can paint and clean and fix it up all properly, but been having a few dramas,
managed to remove the idler arm with out to much drama, and the sway bar, which was on very tight but i got it off,but i got up to the other joint that connects the connecting steering rod to the steering arm,and she wouldnt budge!!!!
swung on the end of a mini sledge hammer for a bit and still refused to move,
i tryed fitting a small bearing puller that i had for doing alternator bearings and that didnt work either!!!!!!!!!!
back to the sledge hammer still no go !!!! getting a bit anoyed at this stage as you could understand,i mean its just a little shaft bolt thru a rod for f sake, you would have thought the sledgy would have moved it!!!!

so eventuly i gave up time for a brake,

came back to it and decided that i need something a bit more serious,so off to bursons,to see if i could get a ball joint remover,
now i asked the guy at the store and he said they didnt have any,so after a few mintues of searching the selfs he decided that there wasnt one and he would have to order one in!!! now i wasnt to happy about that as i just wanted the problem solved,
but we ended up agreeing that he would get one in on monday ,
but as i was walking out of the shop,
what do i spy????
ahhhhhhhhhhhh a ball joint seperator!!!!
right there on the bloddy self ,so i grabed it and said to the guy do you think this would work???(knowing full well that that was pretty much what i was after in the first place)he just laughed and said yeah it would probably do the job!!!
so any way back to the ute hooked up the magic little tool and with in 5 seconds
BANG it was out!!!!!!!hoooooooraaaayyyy!!!
was stoked about it and decided to call the new ball joint seperator THE MAGIC TOOL!!
HAHAHHAHAHA

Any way theres a little story for yous ,
so now i can continue on with the rest of the removal of the front struts, brakes, castro rods ,lower arms etc etc which are all in need of a full cleaning and painting and also new bushes......

heres the pic of the magic tool!!!!

ok before i get started heres something new ,well you know the old spray gun set up where you fill your spray gun pot with paint and then when you want to put differnet colour in or clear in the pot you had to empty the pot and clean it out and clean the lid and spray thinners thru just to change to a differnt colour ,now painting alot of differnt products and colour this can be very anoying !!! but theres this system that im using to paint the ute with ,i use it every day at work and its alot cleaner alot quicker and alot better than the old way of doing things,
infact you can paint upside down with this sytem!!!!!!!!!!!!! try that with an old spray gun with a pot on it!!!!! very messy....

so here what im on about ,this is what a normal spray gun with pot on top looks like.....
