im kinda guessing he cant have a turbo because of the new rules to young , let me put this to u buy a turbo engine take the turbo off till you are able to have a turbo car then just bolt the damn thing on n ya done

Ha, i'm just about to do a sr20 det conversion, but as John just said, i am taking the turbo out and leaning the manifold, but as soon as i get my blacks, i'm gonna chuck a nice big turbo in!!!

??? What do all of you guys think is the better option sr20 or ca18, not that i know much about the ca but the sr goes off in my mates car and its a fair bit heavier than my dato 1200

oh and if you are doing all the work yourself, you should be able to get a front cut for say 3500 to 4500 and you get your gearbox, engine, struts...etc

CA is way better......enough said.

However both motors will be pretty ordinary if they are a turbo motor without the turbo bolted on because of the lower compression. However, if you can handle that till your old enough, go for it
