I know it's not a Datsun but it is kinda datto related and thought someone here may be interested. :)

Item: 1976 Mazda 1000 Ute 4x4 with Supercharged CA18

Location: Ipswich

Website: n/a

Item Condition: Good condition

Reason for Selling: Wedding and finishing off main project car.

Price and Payment Conditions: $3200ono

Extra Info: The car is a 1976 Mazda 1000 ute and chassis. The car has been converted to 4x4 using Suzuki Sierra diffs and transfer case. It's running a Supercharged, CA18 and auto from a S13, using an SC12 s/c from a 4AGZE, through a Sierra 1 ltr transfer case. The motor seems to be in excellent condition, having great oil pressure and running perfectly and reliably everyday. The car is engineered for the engine and diffs.

Wheels are early series Sierra sunrasias which have been reversed to get a good offset, running 15x30x9.5 Kuhmo M/T's.

Interior consist of the Mazda 1000 Bench seat which has been retrimmed. Also has Autogauge tacho, water temp, oil pressure and boost gauges. Also has a Cd Player. The condidtion of the body itself is fair to good condition as it sits at the moment, there is rust in the tray and the left door, and there is some small dings. I do however have another styleside, doors and gaurds which are all straight and 99% rust free in VGC which I was planning on putting on in the near future. This plus paint would make a great looking 1 off mini monster truck.

The car itself is very drivable around town, and is also a very capable 4WD(especially being auto), having been out on tracks many times. I have been contempleting selling it as an opportunity has come up to purchase some parts to finish off my main project car and also put away some money for my wedding next year. I have no other photos at the moment as my camera is broken, but the only thing that has changed is I have replaced the front headlights back to the orginal Mazda 1000/1300 items.

The car does need a few minor things fixed for RWC, like a rear axle seal, the rust (ie replacing the door and styleside) heater hoses connected and maybe and just a general tidy up. Hence the car will be sold unreg. The price is negotiable for a quick sale. All enquiries ring or PM me.

Sorry guys I don't have a camera to take pics, as I dropped it in water when 4wdin one day. I'll endevour to get a camera and take some more pics if you are genuinely interested. Keen to sell though as I have bought an S14 SR20DET motor for my other project and need some more funds to keep that going, and also pay some upcoming wedding bills. Dwindling down my stable of cars.

No it's a standard tray.

If someone is interested, I'm motivated to sell as it just sits at home collecting dust. I'm concentrating on the datto now, and have no use for it. May sell a fair deal cheaper without the spare panels and gauges. :)

Here are some more pics, some of the new lights in the front, and some of the motor and interior etc. Open to serious offers. You may very well get a bargain.
