anyways, more cars doesn't mean that much when a lot of them are beaters (besides being strewn all over the place)

With all due respect, and as someone who has a mortgage, insurance, etc., I'd rather not go to a 'look-how-much-I-can-spend' show. If you'd care to mail me a blank check, I'll get my car lookin' great PFQ.

Yes, I'd rather see 4 daily-driver 1200s than 40 trailer queen Datsuns.

Hey mat, did you get any photos of the three 1200s that were at Shasta this past weekend?

I was hoping to see some of the other 1200 guys from shasta on here.. three cars??? thats all we could muster up? next year... (if there is a next year?) my buddy Eli is going to drive his ka24de 1200 sedan project...

the high point of shasta for me? got a single sidedraft manifold for 40$!! ... and jumping in the river on the way home.

hoping to see more california 1200s at the JCCS show this year as well.

I'm thinking that after 108F (43C) on I-5 through redding, the little a12 that could.... could take on the grapevine!! (long freeway grade outside of LA) but a big aluminum radiator might help.

thanks for posting the pics too! so what... you loose your exhaust on the road?

THERE WILL BE NO SHASTA '07

and possibly no more shastas at all, unless the hale's can find a different location

there is some talk of a thunderhill track day weekend in july, but that'll mean about 85% less attendance

I know, It just seems weird that one would keep going and one would stop. I heard the rates to rent the lodge went up.... Do the roadster guys have more money?

The all datsun meet at Shasta was put on by a different group of people, on a different date, and at a different location than the roadster get together.

The event that you see pictures of on this site are from the deal at the ski lodge. the roadster crowd meets in a park in Mt. Shasta City.

Because of this, the roadster guys may (or may not) do their thing this year, while the club who puts on the all datsun meet has moved the event to Thunderhill racetrack. I have been there before for a trackday and it is really hot.

Although it is about 400 miles north of shasta, the Canby show will still happen this summer!

You guys should come up for it (even you mat).

Bryon
