my dato ute has drum brakes theres fluid to the max levels but my brakes hardley work can they be adjusted any way as i only just bought it and dont no much about drum braking only about disc and could i put disc on it thank u. how much to convert to disc as well.

When you say "they hardly work", I gather the ute doesn't slow down at what you would call A SAFE RATE?
If it has drums alround and to your knowledge, hasn't had a brake service in your lifetime, it might be stuck wheel cylinders.
Remove the drums and get a pal to GENTLY partially apply the brakes and check that the shoes/wheel cylinders actually do something.
These cylinders are a throw away item, if they are kaput, go purchase some newies.
Same with the brake shoes, if there is less than say 4mm of the friction material left on the shoe, then they should be replaced.
Then drain, flush and bleed all 4 corners and they will be as fresh as possible, barring Master Cylinder problems.
