Sanded back the rust convertor on the passenger pillar, to make sure that i had not missed rubbing back any surface rust, then re-applied the convertor followed by the application of primer.

Same process was done to a section of the passenger rear quater panel.

Luke started to use the angle grinder on the lip of the tailgate and driver rear quater, until the sanding disc tore around the lock and then we couldn't get the lock of so we called it a day at midday

Luke got stuck into removing the rivets on the radiator support, so as to be able to remove the front guards, so that we can remove any rust that was hiding beneath them.

Went to have a look at a couple of utes a guy is selling on ebay, the first one at his house wasw good for parts..totally original, totally rusty! but the original seats are good the grill rusty but the badge is perfect just needs a lil shine!! other wise as i said good for parts..the motor goes and stuff so you can rebuild the engine but since i am agfter a CA18DET that didn't mean a great deal to us though...original dash and everything ( needs to be fixed all cracked and stuff but if sumone wants a ute to strip for parts thats in sydney click here

the other ute is at his dads place and was apparently "in much better condition" which was much better...not as much rust but still and that car goes too!

there are no pics for the ute on ebay but if you have any questions just ask myself or Luke (Whorida)

Stripped about 80% of the bog off today using the angle grinder as well as the wire wheel, so i am a happy girl. Finally there is a day with no rain so we can FINALLY do more work on the car as was getting quite frustrated at not being able to get it out to work on it.

MEG's brother came and picked up the original fuel tank and a fuel hatch since she was looking for one n we arent going to use it so I sold it to her.
