Haha, this is no argument darl, just friendly banter.

Now micro, as we have both said, it is cheaper to pay 16k. But in essence it's not your car. If you build up a nice lookin' datto out of an old sh1tbox it's all yours. We're going this way 'coz my wife wants a car that suits her and is full of her personal touches, unique in other words.

There is no greater satisfaction than driving a car you built yourself, and I'm sure most blokes on this site would agree with that.

hey smartass yeah i could pay for a car thats already done like this but have you forgotten the fact that this ute was once "some old shytbox" and was built from ground up?!

Frank put alot of hard work into that ute, and yeah i would pay for that knowing him personally n exactly how much work n perserverance he put into it.

but the point is have you actually cared to look into the fact that most people on this site have bought "some old shytbox" and done the work themselves....why you ask? because its self satisfaction, and also meaning you get exactly wat you want in a car. regardless if for daily, or weekend or show.

so dont go making comments that are knowingly going to piss people off

i think you just managed to insult everyone on this site with one comment

the people that buy an already done up 1200 and just drive it dont typically bother visiting this site

everyone here is rebuilding or has rebuilt a #### box, thats why they are here

obviously its not worth 16k, 15.5k now,

but my smart a$$ comment aside, i wouldnt pay 16k for someone elses project, cause i enjoy playing around a bit with my toys... some one that buys this jus want to drive it (although they probably cant drive real well- stereo type inserted here (not against females, but inexperienced and over ambitious drivers)).

Shame it may end up wrapped around a tree.

ralistically around 15k would be a fair price (the color kills the sale price and limits the target market a bit) but its a drive away option with no headaches left, and some people may pay for that, but probably not many of the 1200.com members.
