Most blokes with ute's have a R31 tank, mounted behind the diff.

R31 tank has a surge tank inbuilt.

my daily ute has a modded ute tank with a vl fuel pump mounted behind the driver out side the cabbin under the tray hope you have a loudish sterio to cover the buzz buzz
but my project ute has the r31 tank fitted at the back (full tank also helps to keep weight over the back wheels and you dont have to pull into every 2nd servo to fill up again) cheers wayne

Mat

Does that Carter sit higher than the fuel tank?

I ask as I'm keen to get a lo pressure fuel pump to sit on the floor of my coupe - that can handle being above the level of the fuel tank.
