If you want reg your better of buying a kit like Westfield, Birkin/PRB a pure race car is different. You wont get reg with a Aseries engine.

I have an twin SU carbed A-15 five-speed in my Birkin. I had no trouble making it street legal here in Texas but I understand y'all do things differently on the other side of the planet.

As for pictures, um, yeah, well... Ask tensandtwenties real nice and he might pop up a few. I'm using a laptop and air card so it takes forever to load pics from my computer.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention that two of my friends are building Locost Seven replicas and are planning to follow my lead with an A-series in each. Ought to be fun!

You making that much out of the bits Adam,ha ha Seriously if you go down this course,go track only,i know guys up here who have built them from scratch for road use for themselves and customers. It has become such a ball breaker with all the new ADR compliance rules they have given it away.In a nutshell you basically have to start with components from a car less than 5 years old and have the thing built enginnered registered before the current ADR's change or go out of date.Very expensive and heavy with all the AP gear. The fun police at thier best.Stick with a trailer car, follow the CAMS manual for sports car regs, roll bar etc. With your business interests it should cost you peanuts Cheers

Cheers for that robert, A low dollar road car was the aim but as you said the fun police have quite a large following down here. If I could find something already done at the right price it might be a goer.... although I'd be happy with a track only car.
Cheers.
