I'm after a pair of front seats of the mid-back variety to suit 1000/early 1200

suitable for re-covering is fine.

I would prefer early model seats that fold forward as they are intended for my 1000 wagon.

Fabric does not need to 100% as long as foam is still good.

I have a set of front seats (flip forward) 1000 2dr. They are in need of cosmetic attention but they're there.

I can't afford the upholstery.

How does that sound?

I have a set from my wagon. The base needs recovering, they do have the head rest thou. and are a fixed back
