yeh i have fwd offset wheels here, they fit on the rear but only barely just, not enough for my likings, I'm thinking of changing the rear diff and getting it cut so it is suitably long enough to run similar offset wheels.

try spacers first to see if they look good that far out, easier and cheaper first off than getting a widened diff. I got a falcon xp diff that is right length for saab 15inch chasers on rear but couldnt be bothered fitting it and getting a tail shaft made up. they are 4 stud 4 x 114 same as datsun. its a 3.9 ratio from memory with a 7.5 inch ceter im sure too, been sitting there covered for 12 months now. was going in coupe but sold that for the sedan.

wheels aren't so much of a concern right now, mostly concerned with getting the struts in so i can finally get the project rolling and off to the painters. I am currently reading every single article from datsun1200.com's history that had anything to do with 5 stud conversions... I'm thinking that might be next on the cards once it's got some paint on it.
