for an A series?

L and A series hose's are on opposite ends on the radiator. You could overcome this with lots of ugly piping.

Also what you could do is measure your radiator 'hole' and see the biggest possible then get measurements off the guys elling the rad?

Well it's a nice big radiator, that's for sure & at that price it's a bargain.
The radiator surface area is quite a bit larger than the hole in the radiator support panel, so this will need to be modified in order to get full benefit from it & of course you will still need to mount it in the car.

I wonder if the final cost & time off the road would have worked out better if you had pulled the original radiator & had it recored with a heavy duty unit. [This assumes that you still run the A series engine]

This is what I have done with mine & it runs right on the mark no matter how hot the day or how hard I push it along the freeway. The upside is that it all just bolts in, & no messy cutting of panels or fussing with hoses & pipes.
