Hello all, I was digging through my pile of parts (which is large and varied) and happened to find an A series nismo oil pump. I was quite excited by this until I found that one of the gears was missing out of it. Any one know if its possible to source replacement gears and if so where from?

I heard a rumour that the L16 oil gear is the same one as in the Nissam A-series pump.

The stock Datsun pumps are the eccentric bi-rotor types while the Nismo pump is a gear type. I do not believe that any parts are available for it from Nismo.

If you want to get one or a matched pair made, the place to ring is Bettany Gears in Paraparaumu Ph 04 2985683. They can cut any gears you want and did the close ratio gearsets years ago for Reg Cook and the Shellsport cars.
