Hi, i just spent a day removing and then placing the dashboad back. Everything is working except the instument lights, although the headlight and parkers all work as well as the indicators. Would anyone be able to point me to which wire it could be before i have to dismantle? (never done this before... found out i have fat fingers :) )

The instrument panel lights work through the main harness connector. There isn't a single wire.
I would first suspect a fuse has blown. Check all the fuses.

Hi Tim. I recently replaced the dash in a 120y and started blowing 1 headlight . It ( the low beam circuit) was earthing out. I chased it back to the main connection directly into the back of the dash using a multimeter. I unplugged the connector & thought "bugger now I'll have to pull th dash out" But plugged it back in and the short magically vanished. Must have been a dirty connection. On the 120y there is one seperate wire coming from the light switch in the dash which appears to power the dash lights.
