Well i tried using flat steel, but found it impossible to bolt it up, something would be in the way of tightening up a bolt. Did you guys/girls use flat steel or RHS?? If RHS, did yous have problems getting them engineered? And what typr of bolts did you guys/girls use? Thanks for any help.

Why cant you just unbolt your original 1200 seat mounts and mount the seats on them ?.

O.k so when you say there just off. Do you mean just off lining up with the holes on the mounts or on the body its self ?

If i line the rails up with the holes on the seats the the rails are to close together to bolt to the mounts on the car. So the flat steel makes them go futher apart if you get me.

O.K So the flat steel is going to stick out the sides of the seats, Yeah ? And hope your using like 3mm flat. Now just measure the distance across and back of the old holes on your original seat and try your best to get it on centre. you could even put some paper over the old base and mark the old holes then transfer that Use high tensile bolts. and make the holes a touch bigger so you have a bit to play with. Also use some good size flat washers and spring washers to make sure they dont rattle loose atleast till you can drop a couple of welds on them. Make sense ??

you can fix the existing seat rails to a flat bar you just need a 25-30mm washer(looks like doughnut) to space the rail from the flat bar, and the flat bar screws into existing bolt hole on the bottom of the seat. hope that makes sense!

Just get the 3mm flat in about an inch and quarter wide and get bolts (with nuts) that are going to be long enough at least an inch long i would imagine. Flat washers spring washers. My blue slip guy said you dont need them engineered if you use the original mounts on the body.
