I'm selling the straight LPG system for my 120Y. It is going back to petrol and having some of my more potent stuff fitted.

The LPG tank is about 18 months old or less and has 44 useable litres. Custom filler neck and under bonnet consists of an Impco J style convertor and a Impco 125 mixer modified to fit onto a standard hitachi base of a L series. Chrome air filter etc. I will also supply a second LPG underbonnet setup that was running a custom R31 skyline throttle body.

$500 for the whole kit including safety switch, flexible LPG lines and clamps (reuseable) and you will be eligable for the government grant.

Edit; I might even consider selling the whole car and I'll start from scratch.

It's a universal fit tank bracket. Origionally off a LH torana but it is universal. I hadn't even thought about the valve saver Mik.

It isn't a bad price for the kit though. The tank retails for $500 and it's a quality Aust Made product 4 valve. Not one of those multi valve rubbish jobs. It may even fit into a B10 as well as a B110. it's a small tank. 310 X 800 I think.

If you want the valve saver mik it's yours... for double retail!!

I may consider selling the car for the right price. With or without driveline.

What is the width (or length - from wheel arch to wheel arch) of the tank at its widest point? and how tall is it?

EDIT - I realise you indicated approx dimensions, but would it be possible to 100% verify them)

The tank's exact dimensions are 800mm x 310mm. 50 litre water capacity with a slight tweak to the AFL valve giving it 44 useable 89% fill.

this tank is similar to the tank in mine, but a little smaller so will fit a 1200 no problems, mine is 820mm x 320. With out the valve tweak gives me 49 useable lt of lpg so this will get you almost 400km on an a series for about $20.... cant beat that with prices of gas stablised at 49c p/l currently.

Yeah, I chose the tank so that I didn't have to damage the origional petrol tank brackets and so that I could raise the tank off the floor enough so that I could fit the 14x6 spare partially underneath it. It was the best option for the car as it has the least amount of obtrusion into the cars boot space. For about 3 weeks I drove around with 2 S14 turbo box's in the boot. The tank cradle makes an excellent anchor point for occy straps.
