its a p.o.s. right now but..... pretty good for $200. i am going to get sheet metal welded on the floor because its rusted through in places, i also plan to remove the rear seat and maybe get some prelude seats. i am also probably swapping a rotary engine out of an rx7 in. a street ported 12a. keep it naturally aspirated and i can clean up house at the tracks around here in missouri and maybe win some money. but i would also like to autocross and rallycross. i know i need to just pick one but, its hard, they're all so much fun!... tell me about your car

David, is your 1200 a coupe (fastback) or the rare, elusive 1200 Sedan?

Either way, borrow a camera and post a pic of it here, we'd like to see it even in its pre-upgrade condition.

Hmmm ... Nissan calls the fastback "coupe". The sedan has a separate trunk compartment.

My 3/'72 sedan looks pretty good from 20 feet or more. It's trunk has manageable rust. It's thermo housing is off, I think it must have overheated & someone started to fix it. Interior is original and in good shape. It came with boxes of spare parts. The 7/'72 sedan got SMACKED in the L rear. This one runs & drives. Interior is poor, but she does have rare AC. Overall, they should prob be parts cars. But untilI find a REALLY good sedan, I'll keep on keeping on. Interested to find out if your 1200 is a sedan or coupe.
