ok so on the weekend i have installed a VZ holden tailgate mechanism, it worked really well after engineering. i have mounted the Honda CRX seats and the car is nearly finished body work wise. mechanical work will start very soon, i have an ovalport high-comp head, twin 40mm sidedraught webbers, redline manifold, 4 into 1 extractors, L16 vaulves. i am chasing up some double vaulve springs please let me know if you have some? the bottom-end will receive: rebore, new pistons, rings, bearings, balance, lumpy cam, lightened flywheel, topped off with a nice 2 1/2 inch high flow system

i was a little side tracked on the weekend as i had a small engineering job for Sean (white sedan).
i had to increase the volume of oil holding capacity, i sectioned the endges and place wings into the sides, it was a great finaly product.
It is going on his L16 1200 sean race car, so it required the depth of the sump to be reduced as it was clashing with the X-member, for my efforts i received an origional datsun 1200 radio and a set of L16 vaulves, here are some pics.

Awesome work dude! love the matchin tailgate! gravity fed guns are the bomb for painting,no pot on the bottom to bump into the job. i use a cheap $60 suction fed gun at home til i set up my big compressor, then bring home my good gravitys from work. if you're ever holidayin in Perth,i've got a few rusty chevs that need doin..... keep up the good work!

Today i picked up the, next batch of powder-coating, re trimmed seats, new nolothane suspension bushes and King Springs.

the trim was done by Jims Trims in salisbury, i am very happy with the outcome! he did the seats, kick pannels, headliner, door cards and sunvisors. the trim is a combo of black plush, red piping and a vinal carbon fiber.

Awesome effort mate. I'm 15 and doing my ute, would love to be doing as much as what your doing to yours to mine, but lack of shed space (none) sorta stops that from happening. Keep up the good work.

I only have the 48 and 2 68 Impalas(1 pillarless),others in the pipeline are my 1000 fastback chop top,an Austin A40 and a 69 Toyota Crown. not sure which way to go with the 48,leaning towards the rat rod for it these days, but i'll probly change my mind by the time i get round to it.
