its not just the mounts its what the mounts are attached to
whole rear floorpan is totally different (110/310)
the leaf mounts are strong enough to do the job
remember the old saying KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid
simplicity has a lot going for it
plenty of early mazdas doing 10's on leaf springs
