imo id rather have it at home
there is no set times to work on it
old man can have a couple of drinks and be relaxed
wish we still had a shed at home it would be done :P
atm its 40 mins drive to get to the place so yeh :(

haha yeah at times it seems like they're more effor t than their worth eh. i reckon i've spent about 300-400 hours getting mine to a similar stage like yours. apart from fuel filler lol. so much effort spent on em eh, looking the business there mate

thanks bud
i bought the ute without a tailgate , windscreen , front gaurds so as u can imagine it didnt have a fuel cap
so i thought ehhhh just get rid of it haha
. :)
some like some dont i couldnt really care :P

i replaced both doors they fit pretty good, only get door hinges right...
my drive's side guard doesnt fit the lines dont line up out by 10mm even with a little massage wont go....gotta get another one BUGGA!Open in new window

thats quite far out
thats exactly what im worried about
but dad said because if he orders them through the shops name if they dont fit they can send them back for another :)
as long as the mechanical side of them everything fits ?
can always just reskin my orig door

yeah thats a good idea you mite be able to get genuine's cheap, i dont no how much better they are!, i get along with the guys where i got mine from exchange it shouldnt be a prob

my uncle is starting a panel shop off mains rd gosford sumwhere...mainly torana's & monaro restorations

umm can u still buy gen panels :S
thought they were extinct , i would much prefer a gen door (passengers side) i can only find thai ones or rusted out through both skins ones
ah well
still missing a windscreen also haha

you can get most panel's not sure but i think 1/4's, guard's & bonnet etc etc, its only a matter of ringing nissan them up....
lamo windscreen i payed $220 out here in the bush

wow , havent been on here in a while .old man was on holidays which ment 1200 wasnt touched.
good news is he finished left quarter and taillight section and now the left side is all under primer
minus a lh door and the tailgate needs to be played with a bit more to fit (as we have to replace the beaver)
anyone have a good condition passengers door let me know :)
i also towed the sr20 donor car to the shop so im keen on that :)
