ITEM:

A series Turbo Kit.

CONDITION:

Excellent

REASON FOR SELLING:

Need cash for uni.

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS:

Please email with offers. Here is a link to the previous sale: A Series Turbo Kit For Sale

EXTRA INFO:

Up for sale is a turbo kit to suit a Datsun 1200. I bought this years ago and have never had it fitted, basically due to the fact that my 1200 has degraded beyond repair. This kit will not fit into a 1000, so it really isn't much use to me.

The previous owner reported 85kW [atw] on the humble little A12.

The intake manifold is suited to a round port head, simply add an oval-port intake manifold and use it on the larger A14 A15 engines.

As with all equipment of this nature, one must expect some technical complexity when installing and assembling the equipment. I have NOT had this kit running but it was certainly a strong performer in its previous ownership. Nothing has been tampered with and it is as good as when it was removed.

Turbo exhaust housing need to be split and re-aligned so that the intake points in the correct direction [upward].

Content Breakdown:

> T25 Garett Turbo - No shaft play, great condition.
> Turbo Manifold
> Turbo oil lines
> Turbo Adaptor (induction side)
> Turbosmart Blow-off Valve
> Intake Manifold
> Carburettor Weber 32/36

> Silicone Joiners & hose clamps to secure
> K & N Pod Air-filter BNIB
> New fuel filter

> Malpassi Rising Rate Regulator.

Total package weight is not more than 35KG

The manifold sets the turbo very low beside the block, which, in a 1000 would foul with the engine mounts and suspension.

You could certainly fabricate a new manifold to suit a 1000 engine bay but I cannot confirm if the plumbing and intercooler would fit.

Hey Steve, yeah it certainly is.

He went EFI and Wolf 3d afterward but this is the initial setup in the white ute.

I'm spewing I couldn't use it myself because it's very well made and it has ALOT of potential. Who knows, maybe Gylezy will buy a fourth Datsun and buy my kit (hint, hint).

I need the cash pretty bad, that's why I'm selling it. I would have fitted to suit a 1000 if I didn't have to sell it.

If you follow the link in the first advert you'll see the original sale and see the original price which I paid. I am not expecting to make ALL of my money back but I certainly won't let it go for cheap.

If you're genuinely interested shoot me a PM or preferably, an email.

That's a good looking kit. It's a shame I don't have the extra money right now.
