Are you planning on running this with the turbo setup Michael?

Well you can go the way you are going but if things don;t go right you'll risk doing some serious damage.

Keep the stock cam for the time being. If you're keen to get ahead the try and invest in a flange for the turbo and a flange for the exhaust ready to make a dump pipe.

What size exhaust are you running at the moment?

Camshafts are one of the most precise components of the engine and ordering a lumpy cam for a hot naturally aspirated engine won't necessarily produce good power in a turbo engine.

Start making contact with a few cam grinders and ask them what they think, a smart cam 'ground for turbo application or forced induction' will make a world of difference.

If you didn't build your engine yourself it'd be a smart idea to get the compression ratio checked, turbo engines work a treat with nice low compression ratios.

Sorry not trying to sound like your dad, the last thing I want to hear is that you got the turbo kit and somehow things went wrong because you weren't quite sure what to do.

If the advice is annoying you and you don't want it anymore then simply say so.

I have an electronic dizzie somewhere from Mal that I can repair (the one that got fried), lock and ready for you, let me know if you want that also.

yeah if you can fix it let me know and we will sort out that aswell na i like the advice as i know nothing at all. it still has the stock standard exhaust but gonna rip that out im going to make my own exhaust system as my dad went through his mid life crisis and bought a massive pipe bender and a very flash welder/plasma cutter lol.

what size exhaust system should i go and what should i put in it?? like a few hot dogs and a dumpy? im thinking the good thing is ill be able too get most of the exhaust stuff cheap because my brother worked at jakes performance and knows them pretty well :)
