i want my car to be really low, what is the cheapest way to do this? whats the deal with reverse leafe springs? also, a spacer plate in my A14 will lower my compression, right? how can i get really low compression? i got a weber 32/36 from the wreckers in perfect condition, just came in off the truck, how much are these worth? is it the best for an A14?? how good r they? what is the best one, fuel wise, i need more fuel to the motor, cause the supercharger will do its job fine.....any help would be great..thanx

Well where do i start? depending on how rough you are the cheapest way to lower any car is to take to the springs with a grinder, hack a couple of coils off and there you go!! rear- buy or make some lowering blocks most performance stores sell them. What sort of carby did you have on it before? Because i say this to everyone, the best thing i ever did was throw away that ####ty hitachi carby and put a 32/36 webber on, i have never had any major problems only with the one that i have on my ute at the moment and that is only because i bought it from a wreakers,i'm always sus on things bought at wreakers because you don't know for sure what sort of life its had before you spend your hard earned dollars. fuel economy is like any car- depending on how heavy you left boot is, if you like constantly wringing your 1200's neck(like me )you'll probably use a fair bit of fuel, but if you drive like an old grandpa you should'nt be on the road!!! all depends on how much you drive it and the distance covered. Is this any help???
P.S- i think my mates are right!,i get a bit carried away when it comes to datos! WHO CAN BLAME ME!?

Just a simple question.
Why are you obsessed with lowering your car "the cheapest way" instead of wanting to do it the right way, the safe way, the legal way?

If you cant afford to do something safely or properly, perhaps it might be better to defer that issue untill you can save enough to do it right. I find that a bit odd since you seem to have enough money to be able play with supercharging.

It seems to me that safety, & legal engineering, are issues that you want to know nothing about, & that scares me.
