Hi all,

Just wanted to post my new buy, so i can get help if needed when tidying her up.

It's a 1978 120y wagon. 1200 motor. 4-speed manual.

Original interior and very straight and tidy for age.

Enjoy.

Andyflip.

Cheers for putting the pictures up for me!
Yeah it was a great buy. Body is straight and only a bit of rust, so will be rubbing it back and giving it a full respray all over by the new year hopefully.
Then just keep on tinkering away, suspension, interior, then hopefully engine.

Sorry I can't help with the colour code, but you definitely have the right idea keeping the standard colour. My car is a non-standard colour and that's the biggest thing I dislike about it!

When I have the time/money/care I will return it to the standard colour.

By the way, this is a fantastic looking little wagon. Don't take any shortcuts on the bodywork - repair all the rust properly and make it into a 'keeper' as there aren't many of these things around in this condition.

It's not quite pea green, eh?

What would you call that? 221 Olive Green?

Thats a sweet little wagon, I wish my 120 was a wagon, so much more style and practibility.

It will be good to see it during the respray process cos I'll have to put mine through the same thing in the next year or so.

hey guys,

Thanks for the comments.
At first i was thinking of changing the color, only to say a white or gray/silver.
But looking at it with my rotary loving mate on sunday we decided that the original color is not only a very bad kind of sexy but makes it look good.
I will chase up on the 221 olive green idea, but yeah im all for the original colors on datos.

Andy
