What are peoples expriences with s13, s14 and s15 aftermarket extractors fitting in SR20de powered 1200's? Do they fit or is the firewall in the way?

We had a similar set on S13 Sr20de they were Trust extractors they needed a fair bit of modding to fit so we sold em and just went with standard exhaust setup. We tried to lower the engine in with them on No go Tried fitting them after engine was in No go Hitting all over the place. Unless you get them cheap or know and trust someone who can mod them i wouldn't bother. The cost would be pretty hefty and not much of a power increase to warrant it. Your car your call though, Hope that helps. Also that said you may find a set that fit easily mine came off the SR that was in a bluebird so that wouldn't have helped either.

Hmmm modding isn't a problem at all but that kind of defeats the purpose of tuned length. Its not much of a power gain alone but running itb's etc, extractors are needed for a good tune. looks like custom headers are the way to go.
