I would have thought for that price you would have done a nice porting job on it.

Maybe in today's market they are worth more stock, but I always like my Datsuns to go as fast as they can.

SIDEDRRAUGHT, I have a ported gx head with big valves as well in same condition with match ported twin weber manifold. and also have a number of other std & ported h89/h75. if anybody intereseted. call 0412 864 741. cheers

Don't get me wrong, as someone who is not an A-series enthusiast I nearly fell off my seat when I read the price. That said, to buy a good cylinder head and give it a standard recondition with "the works" you wouldn't be far off this money.

Apparently these heads are also quite hard to get so $1500 isn't unrealistic, if that's what you're after.

Theres a couple of ported / tampered with or large amounts taken off surface around. Hard to find a GX head thats only been serviced (BETTER THEN FACTORY JOB) once in 30/40 years.
