i havnt been in the shed for like two week because the ute is my mates shed he is doin most of the work and i and just helping him with it. but we had a brake for it because he had to do some thing to his car.
Not we are getting back into it. We started makin a new firewall corner pice on passenger seat side because the old 1 was #OOPS#ed like its had a big big hit in the front or something, but we have to fix it before we can put the passenger floor in.
The driver side is good and dose not need fixing so that a good thing, we just make the same as that side.

did a bit more work last nite to the corner, all we have to do is grind the weld down and then the floor will be welded in.

did a bit of work on the week end, we got the floor fully welded in, fited up the front Suspension and got the ute back on the wheels

hey i have started work out my motor, i have pull off the head that i am goin to use 2 see wat it was like and give it a clean up and it didnt look to bad, i mite put some 1400 valve in it. i am looking for a a15 to put the gx head on. here is some pic of the head and front suspension

hey just a did on what we have done: we cut a bit of rust out of the floor under the driver seat and put a new piece in and we have been playing around the wing sump. i started work on the motor, i have the new valves coming mid this next week and in two weeks at trade school if i get the valve seat cut i will work out the best(biggest) cam i can ran.

Hey mate your ute looks very reminiscent of mine :/ took a lot of work but it's nearly ready for paint. It's all worth it there is no greater feeling than to know what you have created even if a lot of the hard work is not evident at the end. Those are some sweet rims under the front - what are they 16's? Very nice. Great stuff
