Yikes! I didn't mean for this to be a bagging session on the seller, after all no-one had a go at the four or five members who sold their manifolds for a fortune last year in 2010 (to the same buyer). So I think it's understandable that this guy is seeing what best money he can get. Maybe he heard about the sales on here and decided he'd make something of it?

The speedway people crave these and these will make a difference from a non place-getter to a top performer or even a position on the podium. I think if the auction had run longer we may all be surprised to see that it'd sell because the speedway kids have more money behind them than the average datsun owner here.

I always thought the prices would come down and I wished I had paid the $150.00 that one member was asking a couple of years ago, I can't imagine these coming back into circulation, not in the long-term anyway.

Um i had one in immaculate condition and heat proofed and sold it for 150 bucks.
$1000 would get you an awesome set of quality custom extractors!!

What did the heat proofing cost? Thats what I'm going to do to mine.

Levey, I was quoted $175 for a sandblast and ceramic coating inside and out on my 4 into 1 extractors, the silver finish somewhat like a chrome finish. Well worth the investment I think.
