I reckon the same may i just will leave them that little bit bigger lol


I'm still gona try and finish them even though i'm crippled for a while
i hate looking in the garage and knowing i can't work on anything...
so keep checking the post once in a while cause i will put up more pics when i complete them....

ok so i did struggle to get one almost finished i have to admit it does look ok...
i ended up putting it in a coat of primer as i cant be bothered always cleaning the surface rust off it all the time when you have metal just sitting around in WA bloody salty sandy rusty place it is ......
well here's a few pic's let me know what you guys think and let me know if you guys have any good ideas on how to go about making em beta ....

oh yeah i still got to make up the part that will attach to the body... do have a few idea's on how to do it but would like to here some from you guys if you have any???????

i still have to weld some bits in the face plate as it looks a bit ummmm yeah!!! being one dimensional so i will try to get that done tomorrow then they should look a bit better i reckon...

that looks really good, maybe just a bit lower as per original ones?? will need to put some mesh etc in the gaps to stop leaves and crap blocking drain holes underneath?? good work with a busted wing too!!

thanks mate um i've got some mesh i just need to cut to size...
plus i'm almost tempted to just use the original cowl covers i have as i have 2 sets i could just weld them as the bottom plate of the ones i have made to attach to the car with some mods to do with screwing them down to the body...

what do you guys think???? worth a try?

They look sweet, I think putting the originals underneath and skipping the mesh would look better.
