is it worth getting your steering box rebuilt and paying atleast 200 to do so ?

None of us have reconditioned steering boxes...

Even when new they had play in them.

worth doing definitely if it has run out of adjustment and has a significant amount of play

Cheaper and probably faster to get another good used box. Most of them don't leak. But all of them are worn more or less.

1200rc, how much do they rebuild 'em for? Unfortunately no shop here does it.
