While we were putting new carpet in the house, I found this box of flat top pistons that came with a 1000 that have forgotten about. Anyone seen these before? The manual is in Japanese and I can't really see the maker of them. The only words I see are KSVCI, which yield nothing from a Google search. They are about 78mm across, I guess they are oversized for A15? Any info would be great!Here are a few pictures:

It's a bit hard to tell from here. Looks like they accommodate floating pins and they have valve reliefs. They look pretty decent, 78 is pushing it a little but do-able.

Some clearer pics of the pistons outside of their packet (and in some good light) can bring some more info as well. A picture of the underside of the piston will probably reveal manufacturer, forged/cast (I THINK they are cast??) etc.

I'll take em if your selling them as I've got an A15 block that needs to be over bored to be of any use.

The first thing I did was look for markings inside, nothing. =(

If you measure the gudgeon pin diameter (4 small cylindrical sleeves wrapped in the paper) this could help determine what/which A-series it suits or was intended for (you could just drill out the small end of the con-rod to suit if it were a bigger dia pin).

They are for A14, 2mm overbore

I can vaguely remember him saying these can be used for this car if it ever needs a rebuilt, but you will have to bore it out.

Well, measuring the piston pin centerline to top of piston (gudgeon height) will confirm if they are for A14 or for A15.
