the R100 you had looks sweet, i have a R100 in my garage in Noosa but its semi original tried to keep it that way apart from the engine, its running a 13b pp with 51mm ida webbers...

Agree with Carps, some great panel work there.

With the tray, from my investigations it's just a matter of uncovering the multitutes of bloody spot welds and getting the spot weld bit out! I've bought 4 new spot weld drill bits in preparation of ripping mine out!
You will also need to either support or remove your fuel tank as one of the tank mounts is attached to the bottom of the tray floor.
Are you going to replicate the original tray floor with ridges or go with the flat look? wayne080866 (Panel Craft) was looking at the possibility of making up some ute tray floors so might be worth talking to him to see if it will happen.

Yeh as shoota said the floor is held on by #OOPS#eloads of spot welds, it's a tedious job but the results with a new floor will more then outweigh it. You can also unpick the side walls inside the tub and replace with sheet for the ultra smooth look if you have enough patience lol.

thanks mate, nah im a electrician but worked with the old man a fair bit his a boiler marker, just made the panel from 1mm steel and bent it up on the bench trial and error. dont own a dolly and hammer yet looking to invest in a little set soon.

hey guys,
just a quick update, jigged up a rotisserie this arvo at the old mans, hopefully mount it up tomorrow.
also quick question about mounting was going to mount the front to the bumper fixings and rear to the rear leaf spring mount. they a good mounting point?? any advice appreciated.
