This weekend was the the Canby Datsun show, the largest all Datsun-Nissan car show in USA.
On the way there at 5:30 AM one of my Mark IIs fell off while doing 100kph. I kept one eye on the traffic while I put it back on:

It rolled safely to a stop but when I jacked it up, the brake drum and wheel were both off the axle and all four lug nuts gone. I think the flared fenders saved me and kept the wheel in the vicinity of the axle.
all four lugnuts fell off so i swiped one from each wheel to put it back together

You can see alumi shavings from the SSR wheel, it beat up the backing plate too.
Brakes worked fine so I decided to press on. Made a lot of noise the next 175 miles to Oregon... i figured the bent backing plate was what all the noise was (i'm hoping). Anyways on the way back it finally stopped making noise unless i pressed on the brake pedal.
