It is not paper. This is a gasket for the exhaust stream. It is like the exhaust manifold gasket (fireproof).

Yes, the manifold is normally purchased as a unit: with intake and exhaust together.

If you buy separate pieces it is trouble.

Any idea if you can buy a type of gasket paper that would do the trick?
I actually found the parts on everythingg35.com 14005-18000 under that part number.. were much more reasonable than ordering the gasket from nissan.. they said $30!

yup thats it mate, no gasket just follow directions on packet.

My 200B SSS has it on the same place, looks to be very many years old and no leaks or anything.

Paper gaskets would burn up and be useless anyway
