just a tril run to see if pics work. if so this was taken awhile ago maybe a year when i got the ute and chopped it up, removed tray and unstiched all panels that can be replaced, to everyone who has done this then what a prick of a job to die grind or drill out every spot.

got a pic of the dirty old r31 diff that i got and started to cut it up, to shorten it. and a pic of when i finished it, i just got a mate to respline the 28spline axles, i rebuilt it with new bearings etc and wacked a lsd in her, set up the tooth contact and presto a diff for the ute.

With that much missing from rear end you could have built the car around the diff lol.

Good luck and keep it going. Easy cars to work on

some pics when replaced the floors thanks to hermit on ebay still had to trim and bash them with a precision tool to make them fit , but had to make those bits for the inner sill etc, as it was rusted out and i wasnt sure how it was meant to look so just did what i thought. also made some new sills up that run under the floor pans and actually used a plank of timber 50mm wide and shaped with a grinder till the old sills fitted perfectly then screwed a bit of sheet steel to it and bent over with a hammer, i reckon its the best way to make a sill with that nice rolled edge and tappered too like original. i must patent that bit of tooling haha.
