utee is almost ready for rego, but i'm having problem with the reverse lights, the solinoid for the 5 speed gear box hits on the tunnel so i blocked it off with a bolt. I was wondering if there is any way to connect it up without to much hassle?

There are a few ways around this problem, you could check out my build thread or unfamilias thread for a neater option and there's weekend1000 who solved the problem on a 5spd box.

This switch came with my aftermarket washer tank setup and have been told its OK for rego as long as it works, the switch will be hidden by the gearbox boot anyway so they wont know :)

Ooops thats an old picture, I now have a dogleg aswell so have changed the location of the switch, might be a pic in my photo albumn.
Just make sure the switch you use is a "momentary switch" (only stays on when pressed)

Check my build thread, worked out a neater solution finally and engineer signed off on it for rwc. I did same as levey and he didn't like it.

Got my switch from dick smith, I went in for dic and got 2 switches instead
