So here it is - i have convinced the future mrs to let my 1200 sedan be her arrival car and of course feature in the wedding pics. But for that to happen i had to respray the car and "make it look nice." PERFECT - the single BEST excuse for me to get a respray! Only problem is I get married on November 12 and I cant stand not doing things properly!

The Plan:
Full Respray and rust repairs completed by no later than November 12. Everything bar the engine bay...unless i have time...haha funny. It will be done but probly not before the wedding

Well it has begun I completely stripped the car down to nothing more than front and rear windscreens and the headlining. I have bought all the paint and necesary stuf to complete the job all that is lacking now is spare time and GOOD WEATHER

Wish me luck - and i hope to keep everyone informed if i have the time

haha thanks mate makes it faster! It may feature in the new paint job just in a slightly less obvious fashion...we'll see .

Worked at it for another 9 hours today! Stripped the paint of nearly the entire back half. More photos to come - they are still on my phone. Found some drift damage in the right rear quarter. My panel man will be smashing that one hopefully on a couple weeks time. He worked on the roof for nearly 9 hours today! He still not happy with it but i am so i told him to move one haha.

Little bits of cancer to repair round the place - got my weldin guy comin round to look at it hopefully tomorrow with repairs to hopefully get under way in the next week. Primered up everywhere i strippped but my gun is being stupid so i might have to get a new one :/.

Been stripping it with a wire brush wheel it is taking forever but it seems to be the most effective way!? Tried stripper it was hectic messy and took ages to not work real well, then tried sanding pad on the grinder and a flappy disc but they both gummed up/ran real quick so the wire brush it was. Took ages but its nearly done now.
Hopefully get a bit more done tomoz before back to work monday :(

I wouldn't mind seeing the progress pictures but not everybody is on facebook. Nor will I ever be.
