Hey folks
anyone know what grade/grit sandpaper is good for polishing up mag wheels?

How smooth you want to get? If painting I've used 150 if already painted then gone to 400 then 800 wet dry. Saw one wheel piggy did with 1200 wetdry, looked smooth and great.

I'm going to redo superlights with glisten black so need a resand too Going to start 150 then 400, might leave it there and 800 wet dry the polished rims

Steel wool make 1200rc work for it :) start like mik said round the 150/180 mark if these bad marks but if they clean and just want to clean maybe start at 800 and go from there, my rims were done all the way to 1500 for that mirror look :)
I'd still go steel wool but make that b!tch work for it :)
