when i did mine on the ute the bottom hinge was just a solid pin with no bush. the top hinge is the one that would usually go and they have a upper and lower nylon bush. i just put mine on top of the vice and opened the jaws up so the pin would pass through and used a punch and a hammer. have to take the hinge off though. don't know about doing it on the car... they cost stuff all from nissan and only take 5 mins to do. most of the time is in realigning the door.

Hey Bugsie,

can you buy the nylon bushes separately? Everyone is telling me the hinges are cheap but I cant find any from Nissan for under $170 or so (thru Nissan Sydney).

I cant find any cheaper than B Projects on the internet either.

Am i just looking in the wrong places??

my biggest complication is the car is being driven by my Stepson who is on his P's... Ever tried to wrestle the car keys off a P Plater to tell them their car will be off the road for a few days?
