Hey 1200RC check out the part where it says Full engineers certificate. You can have Any engine you want in your car as long as you have a engineers cert on it with the engineer's approval.

Cheers

yeah but...

isn't that what people have said, that they cant get engineers do do SR's and FJ's and 13Bs etc etc, i must be confused, when people say your allowed upto 1.8ltr turbo in a 1200, this still requires a engineers certificate yes, but the engineer doesn't have to prove the car is strong enough?,

where with a 2ltr turbo plus he has to be a ble to sat the chassis is strong enough and all that crap, is that a fair summation of the situation or not???

In QLD, you can mod a car up to what is outlined by the Department Of Transport and only need to get a mod plate (which basically says the install is good and nothing is going to cause anyone harm). IF you wish to exceed that then a full engeneers certificate is needed to show the engineer was satisfied with the safety of your conversion and car as a whole.
