Looks like summit has some of the XR700 conversion kits for about $107 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRN-700-0231/ assuming I googled the right one

Yep, that looks like it.
It is considerably more expensive than Pertronix
And considerably more complicated to install as it uses an external box.
Many users here gave good reviews for Pertronix.

I'll look at the pertronix if I see another one. Need to find some other bolt on upgrades for the poor car
