haha cheers Mick, yeah still same house for the next 5 months or so, it will be diff and rear leafs being removed and replaced so let me know which weekend you will be free.

No dont butcher it and shave anything the body is to schmick just convert and enjoy. Though its your car do what you like i just hate the shaved rails and hooks seen to many utes ruined by it.

agreed, dont shave it, way too much of a headache. I did mine, should have left it. But my build looks very similar to yours, ive got the datsun side vents and scuttle vents in stainless, black car, etc etc. My paint is nowhere near the standard of yours yet. But it gives me more motivation coz i get a better idea of what mine will look like. more pics pls!!!!!

nah not shaving the rails just the tail gate handles eventually, i have heaps of stuff to do before i even think about shaving, main things are welding trans tunnel in and custom tailshaft can anyone suggest a mobile welder in the ipswich area?

hilux diff is in as well as the reset leaf springs just got some issues with the shocks and wheels clearane, need my wheel arches rolled.

also need someone to weld my trans tunnel in can anyone recommomend a workshop or someone that will do it in my garage?
