I'm contemplating purchasing a datto that was brought over
from Victoria a few yrs ago, but was never transferred to SA rego. Now I have always been
under the impression that if you bought from interstate it needs to go over the pits. The fella selling it
assures me it can just be taken to the local cop shop to make sure numbers are all matching and then rego is no worries. Has anyone had any experience with this? Also the car has wheel arch flares, are they legal or is that another thing to worry about?
Cheers, Scott

If you bring a car from another stat to NSW it has to be bluesliped which is same as going over pits as you guys call it.
We also have to blueslip any car that has been unregistered for 3 months or longer
