see the issue? even if i machine that top nut thing down there is gonna be a bees dick of steel there and i dont really trust my life with that, only other option i can think of is to machine a shim to fit between the thread and the pillow mount, cut the spacer that goes under the mount and run the nut that come with the insert ontop, will work but be kinda ugly.
What do you guys think?
unfamilia i appreciate that you are trying to help but nothing you have said has helped the slightest so unless you have some solid facts can you please stay out of this thread and i mean that in the nicest possible way. Thankyou.

I'll try and upload some pics of my set up for you. ( same bits)
You're on the right track, I had to machine up some spacers to go in between the coil over top hat and the camber plates.

No offence taken- just suggestions of how I did things the 4 setups I've had.

mine are mk1 golf (rabbit ) inserts.
As you can see I don't get alot of the nut onto the thread either, the alloy spacer between the top hat and the camber top has to be that thick (8mm) to enable the camber tops to tilt over for full adjustment, I tried running one thinner but the base of the camber plate binds against the top hat.
