Thanks for the comments guys. Forgot to mention the tyres are stretched. 185 x 60 x 14 on the 8" rims. Looks mad.

Will definitely be looking for flares now. I have my Mira bar too so I might be making a one piece front out of it.

Then its off to the suspension shop to get the ass end lowered and the front lowered as well.

Once thats done, the A15 and twin dellortos go in and I'm nearly at the point where I will be completely satisfied.

looks tuff, just gotta lower it about 3 inches and pump those guards out!

Should have run 185 55s, they are pretty easy to get hold of, think mine were about $80 a pop.

Haha mik. Always a laugh.

I could do a suspension mod myself but I don't know enough about it. The front is standard height I believe...Unless it was raised by the previous owner.

I would like to get the rear leafs reset instead of lower blocks/flipped spring...etc.. for safety.

Dunno what to do to the front, I guess new springs is a start.

As far as the guards, I don't think rolling them will get me the 2"+ I need? What do you guys reckon? I'm just assuming flares are the way to go but I don't want to buy them if I can get the guards super duper rolled.

I found the rims by way of another member on Ebay, very lucky find. I'm so happy with them. 30 seconds after we fitted them I went for a drive and locals were staring hard out. I heard a random shout out "Go get em Bo" !! No joke.

to get them to fit without major guard mods your gonna have to run smaller tyres so they tuck under. i have 8s on the back of mine with 185 55 14 +-0 and had to roll the inner lip of the guards, was pretty easy with a hammer and dolly set and a steel baseball bat, had to take the thick leaf out + 2" blocks and a bit of junk in the tray to make the baseball bat trick work otherwise you should be able to find some goon on the gold coast with a guard rolling machine to do it pretty cheap, id be doing the same on the front, you should be able to do it without doing too much damage to the paint.

So yeah, smaller tyres on the back, 175 50s would be mint, the same for the front even some 165 55s and wind some camber in to get them under.

Doing all this will also make it one of the most badass utes on the block.

With the money you will spend on "lower spings" added with the dissapointemt when you realise they are not low enough id be going for an adjustable front end like the 1200 coupe/120Y otomoto setup then you can also do an easy brake upgrade.
